One summer can change everything... including the subject of this podcast?
Today we are focusing on the work of one MAYA HAWKE, Ethan's daughter who landed a prime role in Netflix's Stranger Things and had a genuinely moving character arc. Corey has never seen Stranger Things so I filled in some blanks while describing Maya's role and trying to decide if she acts and looks more like Ethan or Uma. I think she sounds exactly like him when she gets drugged by Russians, at the very least.
This episode contains spoilers for most of Stranger Things season three, especially story beats about Maya's character Robin. She's great in it! Congrats Maya! This show should end with season four!
